Crazy Caramel Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cup water
- 9 pitted Medjool dates
- ½ cup coconut milk powder
- ½ cup butter
- pinch of salt
- 1 stick pack of Bake Shoppe from Signe's Spices
Directions:
1. Create caramel mixture by blending the water, dates, coconut milk powder, and Bake Shoppe until smooth.
2. Melt one cube of butter (½ cup) in sauce pan.
3. Pour in caramel mixture from blender. Sprinkle in a pinch of salt.
4. Cook on a low boiling roll until caramel turns a little darker, thicker, and is fully incorporated with the butter.
5. Take it off the heat -- and it is ready to eat! I store it in a glass container in the fridge to enjoy all week.
Notes:
Caramel with thicken more when cooled. This is fantastic to dip apples into, pour on ice cream or frozen yogurt, or cheesecake. It stores well in the fridge in a sealed container. Enjoy!
